FALLING ASTRAY
is the complex creation of unified musicians, and dedicated madmen. With gut wrenching, heart stopping breakdowns mixed along with melodic choruses and widely changed tempo's, there is really no label or genre you could categorize Falling Astray to fall into. Bred from pure originality, along with a selfless frame of mind, the music speaks for itself when its all said and done, and with one way to explain it to everyone is: be a witness at your own risk.

While always looking ahead to get to the next destination, Falling Astray always seeks to be on a higher level without anything getting under our skin or in our way, to never be outdone our put on a shelf, never stopping at any cost with a new approach that brings meaningful lyrics, meaningful sound, and an undying approach to always be that much more advanced then everyone else, it always feels like a never ending war within the soul of this band. With a history that outdoes the rest it can simply be said that over the years Falling Astray has definitely overcome the odds. Having gone through the fair share of struggles and battles, ups and downs and everything else you could possibly imagine happening in 5 years with a metal band, this band still remains with only strength and perseverance by there side. Separating the music diversity into a hundred different directions, the sound of the music known as Falling Astray is unquestionably unique and very widely ranged, and brought together with a fine coated layer of heavy metal, hardcore meets intelligence among the scene.

History always seems to be the inspiration to keep things moving forward with Falling Astray, in hindsight always remembering where we began. Starting from nothing, the band met and started writing with no intentions of anything serious at first, with a logical sound coming straight from the beginning there was no obvious reason to not become more serious about the project and move ahead, start playing shows, and eventually writing an E.P. that spread like wildfire around the local Cleveland scene which gained Falling Astray a deep imprint in the music industry thus far. Always trying to hold the upper hand, the band split with the original guitar player who was there at the start but for undisclosed reasons we all had to move forward without that chemistry polluting our creativity and ways of thinking.

Falling Astray also parted ways with there singer due to creative differences, and from there the two remaining original members, Tommy Drums and Ray (717) met up and joined forces with Tedy Junk (ex- Konipshun Phit) and Justin Kalenits (ex- Konipshun Phit) and Danny Dingess (ex- Devolution) and also teamed up with Bobby Kaos to form present day FALLING ASTRAY….stronger than ever before, locked and loaded and ready to annihilate everything in there path and prove to everyone we have something to say, we have a voice, and we are pissed off at the world and we are ready to take it to the next level!! Clearly speaking, there is no more strain to hold down future progress of Falling Astray like there was before, now its progress and more here on out.

Combining and comparing the live performance and overall sound to the deep roots of how each member derived from other bands is what will always set this group apart from the rest, with experience at hand this strongly aligned the progress made in 6 years, playing with national acts such as: (Otep, Ill Nino, Mushroomhead, Kittie, Caliban, Sworn Enemy, Ion Dissonance, , Stemm, Dope, 36 Crazyfists, Walls Of Jericho, HED (P.E.), Across Five Aprils, Bleeding Through, A New Revolution, Solipsist, Ventana, Carnifex, Sister Sin, Flyleaf, Forever In Terror, Kill Whitney Dead, Droid, The Demonstration, Dance Club Massacre, (216), Unified Culture, State Of Conviction, Pitch Black Forecast,  Devildriver, Misery Signals, Kataklysm, Karen Page, Polkadot Cadaver, Dog Fashion Disco, Nile, Panic Cell, Everytime I Die, Haste The Day, Between The Buried And Me, Soilwork, Throwdown, Fear Factory, Chimaira, Soulfly, Mindless Self Indulgence, Hatebreed, Drowning Pool, Nonpoint, Sepultura, Veil Of Maya, Born Of Osiris, Divine Heresy, In Flames, Droid, Dry Kill Logic, My Ruin, Five Bolt Main, Goatwhore, Oblige, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Breaking Benjamin, Taproot, Soil, Ten Years After, 40 Below Summer, (ETC.).

This has always been the main tool to reach a fan base on a wide, and higher level, aside from that gaining fans from all different genres of music, which is the reason Falling Astray, over the years have shared the stage with such a diverse collection of national acts. The history has been settled in, and now it is a new time to make a bigger mark in the music world.

Present day Falling Astray consists of the two major members who have not only remained with the band through every fallout, every let down, and every struggle, this is the whole reason why Falling Astray will not be put to rest until we say we can be put to rest, the drive that is carried throughout everything has the one logistic to why we have out lived so many local acts, so much nonsense, and still to this day write new material, record new music, and play shows knowing we have fans with undying devotion and support for us until the end. There is one reason to keep everything above water still, and that is the pure love for writing music and sharing our personal creations with everyone, because in the end, above all the flashing lights, and rumors, and drama, and all the bullshit, the music is what it's all about and that’s what it will always be about with Falling Astray... not the hype, just the music.

For future review all there is left to say is, support your local Falling Astray, because everyday we make changes that only improve ourselves as a whole, on the horizon there is a stronger and more versatile, newer and updated Falling Astray. With nothing else left to say... put your fist in the air and witness the mayhem of a well structured killing machine.
